Donald Judd’s unique perception of space is reflected in his five-story home and atelier at 101 Spring Street in New York. Space to him was the simple expression of complex though.
Judd bought the house in 1968 and lived and worked there for over 30 years. He created furniture and art specifically for each room and viewed them as permanent installations, not to be removed from their original context.
